A meaningful opportunity for health sector professionals with lived Indigenous experience to share knowledge and perspectives that will contribute to anti-racist, accessible,
safe, and inclusive oral health services across what is now commonly called Canada.
The Federation of Dental Hygiene Regulators of Canada(FDHRC) is a federation of organizations which have a statutory responsibility to regulate the profession of dental hygiene within their respective provinces. The FDHRC head office stands on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation. The FDHRC is undertaking a project to address Indigenous-specific racism in oral health services across what is now commonly called Canada.
Applications are now being accepted for up to 16 Indigenous professionals in the health sector to provide consultation and knowledge-sharing on this project.
